Job Description Trade Assistant | Meadowbrook | $35 per hour Pens ️ Opportunity : Work in a busy fabrication workshop with new SMEC CNC machines and a strong pipeline of defence work, offering consistent hours and overtime. Experience : Hands-on fabrication experience (brake press, cutting, blasting or similar). Proficient experience with hand tools Exposure to CNC machines (operator/assistant level). Ability to handle materials, load/unload, and work safely in a workshop environment. Gantry crane experience beneficial. Benefits : Casual role paying $35 per hour penalties. High overtime availability with stable, long-term work. Hours : Monday to Friday most Saturdays Extras : Candidates must have PPE: long sleeves, long pants, and steel cap boots. Must have: forklift licence| Desirable: gantry crane experience, first aid certificate. Career progression available.
