The business supplies critical products to heavy industry and operates under strong safety, quality, and operational standards, supported by structured processes and global reporting requirements. Your New Role As a Production Manager or experienced Production Supervisor looking to transition into a more senior role, you will lead daily manufacturing operations across forming, finishing, precast, and packaging areas within an industrial production facility.You will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing resources, and ensuring manufacturing targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and to specification. This hands on managerial role requires strong floor presence, technical understanding of production processes, and the ability to lead and develop production teams. Key responsibilities include: Promoting and enforcing a strong safety culture in line with WHS standards Supervising small team operations across key production areas and material handling equipment Coordinating labour, equipment, and materials to meet production plans Auditing product quality and managing corrective actions Using ERP systems (SAP or similar) for production tracking, reporting, and process control Analysing production data, KPIs, and process variables to identify improvement opportunities Working closely with maintenance to resolve equipment issues and support preventative maintenance Leading daily reports, toolbox talks, and production meetings Training, coaching, and developing production staff Driving continuous improvement initiatives across productivity, quality, and cost Due to collaboration with offshore support teams and head office functions, occasional meetings outside standard hours may be required.
