You will join a high-profile programme focused on strengthening planning, delivery and governance, working within a large, complex and multi-stream environment. Your new role We are seeking experienced EL1 professionals in Programme Planning/Scheduling, Project Coordination, and Assurance to support delivery within a major reform programme. Depending on your background, you will contribute across one or more of the following areas: Programme Planning & Scheduling Develop and maintain integrated programme schedules Align timelines across multiple workstreams Identify dependencies, critical paths, and delivery risks Provide schedule-based insights and reporting to executives Project Coordination & Delivery Lead and coordinate project planning and delivery activities Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and governance processes Prepare briefings, reports, and governance documentation Ensure projects align to strategic priorities and programme outcomes Assurance & Governance Coordinate assurance activities across a complex programme Support audits, reviews and external assurance processes Maintain assurance frameworks, registers and reporting Analyse findings and provide insights to senior stakeholders What you'll need to succeed We are looking for candidates who bring: Experience in PMO, programme delivery, or governance/assurance environments Background working in government or large-scale transformation programmes Strong ability to manage competing priorities and complex stakeholder environments Experience using project or scheduling tools (e.g. MS Project or similar) Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear insights to senior stakeholders Experience in integrated planning, project delivery, or assurance/risk functions What you'll get in return $602.55 per day super Contract through to the end of 2026 with a strong likelihood of extension Opportunity to work on a major national reform programme with meaningful impact Exposure to complex, large-scale programme delivery environments Flexible hybrid working arrangements What You Need to Do Now If this role sounds like something youd be interested in pursuing, click Apply Now or forward your current CV to tom.james@hays.com.au.
