Blackbutt, Queensland Seasonal Casual Positions | 2–3 Month Harvest | WHV (88 Days) Eligible Staff 360 is now recruiting for the 2026 avocado harvest season in the Blackbutt region of Queensland. We have multiple positions available across the harvest and pack shed for reliable, hardworking candidates looking for full-time seasonal work. These roles are ideal for Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417 & 462) holders wishing to complete eligible regional work. Located less than two hours from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, this is an excellent opportunity to join a professional horticultural operation during one of the busiest times of the year. Positions Available Pickers Harvest avocados by hand while maintaining quality standards. Carefully inspect fruit during picking. Transport harvested fruit to collection points. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Pack Shed Packers Sort, grade and pack avocados. Label and palletise produce. Operate packing equipment safely. Maintain quality and food safety standards. Forklift Operators Load, unload and move pallets throughout the pack shed. Assist with packing, palletising and general harvest operations. Work safely around machinery and production staff. Current forklift licence required. EWP Operators Harvest avocados using Elevated Work Platforms (cherry pickers). Work safely at heights while maintaining picking quality. Carry out daily machinery checks. Assist with general orchard duties as required. What We're Looking For Reliable and motivated workers with a strong work ethic. Previous horticulture or agricultural experience is an advantage but not essential for all roles. Forklift operators must hold a current Australian forklift licence. EWP operators should be comfortable working at heights. Physically fit and capable of manual outdoor work. Own transport and a current driver's licence are highly regarded. Ability to work as part of a team while maintaining quality standards. Employment Conditions Seasonal casual employment (approximately 2–3 months). Full-time hours during harvest, with longer hours when crop and weather conditions allow. Monday to Saturday roster during peak harvest periods. Opportunities for ongoing farm work may be available for strong performers after harvest. Pay rates from $33.05 per hour Accommodation Accommodation is not provided on site.
