Electrical Project Manager – Industrial Electrical CGC is representing a growing Sydney-based electrical contractor delivering high-quality electrical, communications, and specialist systems across the industrial construction and renewable energy sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of delivering industrial electrical construction projects from commencement through to completion. About the Role Reporting directly to the State Manager, you will be responsible for managing industrial electrical projects across Sydney, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple industrial electrical fit-out and construction projects simultaneously. Coordinate project delivery from planning through to completion. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, builders, consultants, and subcontractors. Attend site meetings and provide leadership to supervisors, leading hands, and site teams. Manage project budgets, forecasting, variations, and cost reporting. Coordinate the procurement of labour, materials, and equipment. Monitor project programmes and ensure key deadlines are achieved. Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, WHS legislation, and project specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks. Prepare project documentation, including RFIs, variations, progress claims, and completion documentation. Work closely with the office team to ensure efficient project delivery. Essential Requirements Industrial electrical experience is essential. Applications without this experience will not be considered. You will also have: Current NSW Electrical Licence. Minimum 5 years' experience as an Electrical Project Manager. Demonstrated experience delivering industrial electrical fit-out and construction projects. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical installations and project delivery. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience using Simpro (highly regarded). Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
