About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic Employment Consultant to join a vibrant and growing team based in Marrickville. This is a full-time permanent position, initially reporting to the Regional Manager. In this role, you will manage a caseload of participants, supporting them to overcome barriers and secure sustainable employment. You will develop tailored employment plans, provide ongoing coaching and guidance, and actively engage with local employers to create suitable job opportunities. You will also work closely with a comprehensive on-site support network including internal teams and external support services to ensure a holistic and person-centred approach. The office is a large, social environment with an excellent business culture, easy public transport access, and convenient parking options. Key Responsibilities Manage and support a caseload of participants toward sustainable employment outcomes Achieve placement targets aligned with industry benchmarks Conduct regular participant appointments and case management activities Build and maintain relationships with local employers, delivering professional pitches and identifying opportunities within the disability employment sector Engage with the local community, attending provider meetings and developing referral partnerships Collaborate with internal support services to deliver wrap-around participant care About You The ideal candidate will bring: Enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills, a vibrant personality and high emotional intelligence are essential Excellent communication and rapport-building abilities to connect with a diverse client base Adaptability and a willingness to learn, prior DES or IEA experience is welcomed but not essential; candidates from any Employment Services background with the right attitude will be considered as well as those with transferable skills Professional presentation suited to a more corporate office environment Ideally, local to the Marrickville area or nearby for community familiarity and an easy commute What's on Offer Competitive salary with travel allowance Not-for-profit salary packaging benefits Supportive team environment with strong leadership presence on-site How to Apply To apply, please submit your resume in Word format.
