As an Underground nipper at Westfill, you will play a pivotal role. About the role: Minimisation of jumbo down time by assisting with any repairs. Assist jumbo operator with installation of bolts and mesh for ground support. Ensure the mining team has supplies and equipment to support efficient workflow. Assist underground Operators and Service Crew as required. Keep the work area clean, tidy, and organised to support safe work practices. Record all shift report data correctly and on time. Participate in shift changeover and collect information for upcoming shift tasks. Promote an enjoyable, safe, and productive work environment. About you: A minimum of 1 year experience working in an underground mining environment including truck and nipper roles. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills A proactive, team-oriented attitude and compliance with safety policies and procedures. Ability to cope with working in a physically challenging environment. Current Valid Manual Driver’s License (Essential.) Full Australian Working Rights (Essential). WA-based and available for FIFO (Essential). Have LV & Manual Scaling tickets (Essential).
