About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a high-performing infrastructure team responsible for the design, implementation, optimisation and support of enterprise-scale network environments. This is a hands-on technical role suited to an engineer who is equally comfortable developing detailed network designs, leading technical projects, and troubleshooting complex production issues. Key Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain large-scale enterprise network environments. Produce high-level and low-level network designs (HLDs and LLDs). Lead network transformation, migration and upgrade projects. Provide Level 3/4 technical support and escalation expertise. Configure, optimise and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching platforms. Deploy and manage Fortinet security solutions including FortiGate firewalls. Design and implement network security policies and segmentation strategies. Support data centre, campus, branch and cloud networking environments. Develop technical documentation, operational procedures and network standards. Collaborate with security, cloud, infrastructure and application teams. Participate in change management, capacity planning and disaster recovery activities. Technical RequirementsEssential 7 years of enterprise network engineering experience. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies. Advanced knowledge of: BGP OSPF EIGRP MPLS VRF VLANs STP HSRP/VRRP QoS Strong experience with Fortinet solutions including: FortiGate FortiManager FortiAnalyzer SD-WAN VPN technologies Experience designing and implementing highly available network architectures. Proven experience creating detailed network designs and technical documentation. Strong troubleshooting skills across LAN, WAN, wireless and security environments. Experience with enterprise monitoring and network management platforms. Desirable Experience with Cisco DNA Centre. Experience with cloud networking (AWS and/or Azure). Network automation experience using Python, Ansible or Terraform. Exposure to Cisco ISE and NAC solutions. Wireless networking experience.
