As a Diversional Therapist at Vision Personal Training Bondi Junction, you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging health, wellness and recreational programs that promote physical activity, social participation, motivation and overall wellbeing for clients. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, creativity and a genuine commitment to supporting individuals in achieving healthier lifestyles. Responsibilities and Tasks: Assess clients' interests, abilities, health goals and lifestyle needs to develop individualised recreational and wellness programs. Plan, coordinate and facilitate therapeutic, fitness-based and social activities that encourage client engagement and wellbeing. Design and implement group-based activities that support physical health, social interaction and positive lifestyle changes. Monitor client participation and progress, evaluating the effectiveness of programs and making adjustments where required. Collaborate with personal trainers and other fitness professionals to integrate recreational and therapeutic activities into broader health and fitness plans. Maintain accurate records, reports and program documentation in accordance with organisational requirements. Provide motivation, encouragement and support to clients to maximise participation and achieve personal wellness goals. Organise health promotion events, educational workshops and community-based activities that align with the studio's health and fitness focus. Identify potential barriers to participation and develop strategies to encourage ongoing involvement and positive outcomes. Ensure all activities are conducted safely and comply with relevant workplace health and safety standards. Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualification. Minimum 1 year experience as a Diversional Therapist. Strong understanding of recreational therapy, health promotion and wellbeing programs. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Ability to plan, coordinate and evaluate engaging activity programs. Strong organisational skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $85,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
