APG Workforce is seeking a mill hand to support in our clients located at Tamworth. Hours: 38 per week Monday to Friday, day shift. Casual hourly pay rate $32.2 per hour. PPE and onsite training provided, casual to permanent opportunities. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Perform cleaning duties as directed by the Supervisor/Manager, following company procedures and safety standards. Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and maintain accurate cleaning records. Ensure compliance with Quality, HACCP, GMP, and Safety requirements. Assist in meeting cleaning performance targets and KPIs. Clean intake, meal, and grain storage areas. Work independently within established procedures. Participate in training as required. Assist in other feed mill areas when required and suitably trained. Our selection criteria: Driver’s license and own reliable transport to get to work. Must have experience in poultry industry Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Must have ability to make quick and correct decisions “on the job” Must have excellent time management skills and high level of attention to detail. No birds, chickens or pigs at home (quarantine regulation) Be physically fit with no restrictions for repetitive manual handling duties including heavy lifting.
