What you'll be doing As part of Heartland's Digital Automation & Transformation team, you'll help build and support the integrations that power our digital banking experiences. You'll have opportunities to: Develop and enhance APIs and integration services Work with modern cloud and container technologies Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation initiatives Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product teams and business stakeholders Learn best practices in security, scalability and system design Participate in Agile delivery teams focused on continuous improvement Help shape the future of AI-enabled banking solutions From day one, you'll be working on meaningful projects that directly impact our customers and business. What we're looking for We're looking for graduates who are passionate about technology and eager to learn. You'll ideally have: A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field An understanding of programming principles and software development practices Exposure to API development, cloud technologies, or systems integration through study, internships, projects, or personal interests Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills A growth mindset and willingness to learn Exposure to any of the following would be a bonus: Java or Spring Boot REST APIs Azure or cloud technologies Docker and containerisation CI/CD tools and automation Microservices architecture Agile ways of working Don't worry if you haven't worked with all of these technologies yet—we're looking for potential, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
