Build Something From the Ground Up We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a growing remote operation. The exploration phase has been very successful and will continue for many years to come. But we are now at a point where production has been committed to. This is not a corporate office role. We're looking for someone who enjoys remote operations, thrives on solving problems and is prepared to roll their sleeves up alongside the team when required. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll become the key operational leader on site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and with the flexibility that remote operations demand. What You'll Be Doing • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the site and associated activities. • Coordinate contractors, work crews and site personnel. • Lead site logistics, maintenance and operational planning. • Work closely with senior leadership to ensure work programs are delivered safely and efficiently. • Jump in and solve problems wherever required. • Assist with equipment, machinery and general site operations when needed. • Help build the systems, processes and culture that will support future growth. About You You'll come from a mining, exploration or remote operations background and be someone who naturally takes ownership. What matters is that you've successfully managed people, contractors and remote operations and are comfortable making decisions when things don't quite go to plan. Ideally you'll bring experience with: • Remote mining operations. • Leadership of multidisciplinary site teams. • Contractor and logistics management. • Heavy equipment and mobile plant. • Remote camp operations. • Safety leadership and operational planning. • Strong communication and practical decision making. Most importantly, you're the type of person who sees something that needs doing and simply gets on with it. What's On Offer • Long-term opportunity with a growing company at a real cutting edge point of its existence. • Genuine autonomy and ownership of the site. • Work closely with an experienced leadership team. • Diverse role where no two days are the same. • Opportunity to help shape the future of the operation. • Darwin-based 8/6 roster preferred, however longer interstate rosters will be considered for the right person. If you're looking for another highly structured corporate role, this probably isn't it. If you enjoy building teams, solving problems and taking ownership of a remote operation where you can make a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.
