Job Description Oaks Cairns Hotel are looking for an enthusiastic and service-driven Barista / Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team on a casual basis. This role combines barista duties with food and beverage service responsibilities across breakfast, lunch and dinner operations. Key Responsibilities Include: Preparing and serving high-quality coffee, tea, specialty beverages and other drinks. Providing friendly, professional and efficient service to all guests. Taking food and beverage orders accurately while accommodating guest preferences. Serving food and beverages in a timely and professional manner. Providing menu recommendations and confidently answering guest enquiries. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the restaurant and service areas. Operating coffee machines and other food and beverage equipment safely and correctly. Following all health, hygiene, food safety and Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements. Delivering exceptional customer service by anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations. Shift Details (subject to change): Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday Must be available to work weekends RSA required. Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation): Monday - Friday: $31.19 per hour Saturday: $37.43 per hour Sunday: $43.66 per hour
