The Centre A brand-new, purpose-built early learning environment in Adelaide’s Hills (opening soon) is seeking experienced Lead Educators to join its founding team. This is a rare opportunity to be part of something special from the very beginning, within a centre designed to foster calm, curiosity, and meaningful learning experiences. The environments has been thoughtfully prepared, with natural light, carefully selected materials, and spaces that encourage independence, exploration and a strong sense of belonging. The Opportunity We are looking for passionate and experienced Lead Educators and Ed Leaders who are confident in guiding a room and mentoring others. You will play a key role in shaping the culture of the centre, supporting children’s development through thoughtful, intentional practice and fostering a calm, engaging learning environment. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be encouraged to slow down, observe, and respond to children’s interests, supporting their growth at their own pace. You’ll lead by example, working collaboratively with your team to create meaningful experiences and a strong sense of connection within your room. About You You are an experienced educator who values respectful relationships, quality practice, and continuous growth. You enjoy working in environments that prioritise purpose over rush, and you’re passionate about creating spaces where children feel capable, confident and supported. You will also have: Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent) Proven experience as a Lead Educator or Room Leader Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS Confidence in mentoring and guiding a team Current First Aid, RRHAN, and Working With Children Check (SA) Experience working in environments that support child-led learning, independence, and thoughtfully prepared spaces will be highly regarded.
