As a Full-Time Team Member, you will play an essential role in creating an exceptional customer experience, supporting the store’s operational goals, and contributing to our mission of making a difference. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Experience: ● Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring every customer leaves with a positive impression of Zambrero. ● Prepare and serve food items according to Zambrero’s recipes and quality standards. ● Engage with customers to provide information about our menu, the "Plate 4 Plate" initiative, and other store offerings. ● Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a friendly and professional manner. Store Operations: ● Assist in the daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures. ● Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and health regulations. ● Monitor and restock inventory as needed, ensuring adequate supplies for daily operations. ● Accurately process transactions, handle cash, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system. Team Collaboration: ● Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations. ● Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to continuously improve skills and knowledge. ● Support new team members through training and mentorship. Cost & Quality Management: ● Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste while maintaining high food quality. ● Assist in tracking and reporting inventory usage, helping the store meet its cost management targets. Health & Safety: ● Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. ● Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or incidents to the Store Manager promptly. Key Requirements Experience: ● Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a customer-facing role is preferred but not essential. ● Familiarity with food safety practices and procedures is an advantage. Skills: ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. ● Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. ● Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Personal Attributes: ● Enthusiasm for food, customer service, and Zambrero’s mission. ● Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative. ● A positive and collaborative attitude. ● Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications: ● Food Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain). ● First Aid Certificate (desirable).
