Senior Windows Infrastructure Engineers (x3) - TSPV Cleared RAAF Edinburgh (SA) | Onsite 12-Month Contract 2 x 12-Month Extensions Cleared Recruitment is partnering with a key Defence organisation to engage three Senior Windows Infrastructure Engineers to support secure, enterprise-scale environments within Australia's national security domain. This is an excellent opportunity to work on critical infrastructure systems in a highly secure and impactful setting. The Role As a Senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, deployment and ongoing management of complex Windows environments supporting mission-critical systems. Key Responsibilities Develop and support Windows server platforms including Active Directory, DNS, PKI, RDS and WSUS Design, test and deploy Windows OS builds and system images Integrate Windows environments with VMware and virtualised infrastructure Implement and support security tools, configurations and MFA solutions Automate infrastructure processes and improve system efficiency Manage backup, recovery and disaster recovery capabilities Monitor system performance and ensure high availability Troubleshoot and resolve complex Windows-related issues Support server migrations and infrastructure upgrades Skills & Experience Proven experience at Senior Infrastructure Engineer level (EL1 equivalent) Strong expertise in Windows Server environments and ecosystem tools Experience with system deployment, automation and virtualisation (VMware) Solid understanding of Windows security frameworks and tools Ability to design and support large-scale, secure infrastructure environments Security Requirements Current TSPV clearance is mandatory Contract Details Start Date: September 2026 (indicative) Initial Term: 12 months Extensions: 2 x 12-month options Location: RAAF Edinburgh, SA (onsite) Hours: Up to 40 hours per week About the Organisation You will be supporting a Defence intelligence agency responsible for safeguarding Australia against global threats through advanced cyber security, intelligence and technology capabilities.
