This role supports CQID to promote Torres Strait Islanders throughout its Footprint. The Community Officer supports CQID’s connection, accountability, and responsiveness to community. Reporting to the Community Consultant, this role focuses on engaging with community members, gathering feedback, and supporting activities that ensure community voice is reflected in service delivery and organisational decision-making. The role operates at a local level, maintaining strong relationships with Elders, families, and stakeholders, and contributing to culturally appropriate, community-informed practice.
