Our placement program is designed for students who are curious, capable, and great to work with – with the opportunity to progress into a graduate program and long-term career pathway toward becoming an Associate Engineer. Students have the flexibility to tailor their placement experience, including the type of work they undertake, their placement location, and the structure of their schedule. Placements can be completed across our Rockhampton, Sunshine Coast, and/or Brisbane offices, with flexible options around hours, days per week, and overall placement duration. Who We’re Looking For: Students currently studying: Bachelor of Civil Engineering in their 3rd or Final Year of Study What You’ll Be Exposed To: Infrastructure Planning & Advisory Helping clients plan smarter infrastructure outcomes before projects begin. Includes: Infrastructure planning and strategy Feasibility and business cases Risk and resilience planning Asset and network planning Infrastructure Delivery Supporting the successful delivery of infrastructure projects from planning through to construction. Includes: Construction and project support Site inspections and coordination Contract administration Quality and compliance processes Engineering Services Delivering practical engineering design and technical solutions for real-world infrastructure projects. Includes: Civil and drainage design Roads and water infrastructure Technical modelling and analysis Engineering documentation and CAD Why Hartecs?
