Express Employment Professionals is currently working with a trusted provider of industrial fabrication, maintenance, equipment modification, manufacture, and installation services across the transport, construction, manufacturing, and industrial sectors based in Brendale. Due to high demand and growth in the business, we are currently seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Fabricator to join our growing team. This role offers a mix of workshop fabrication and onsite industrial maintenance work, giving you excellent variety and the opportunity to work on challenging engineering projects. Hours of work: Mon - Fri 6am - 2pm potential OT Pay Rate: $40 - $50/h (based on experience/qualifications) Key responsibilities include: Fabrication and welding of industrial equipment and components Maintenance and repair of material handling equipment Modification and refurbishment work Planned maintenance shutdowns Emergency breakdown repairs Installation of new equipment Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Working safely both in the workshop and onsite Skills & Experience Required: Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Fabricator Experience in MIG, TIG and Arc welding Ability to work from drawings and specifications Experience in industrial fabrication and maintenance Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Current driver's licence Ability to work independently and within a team Commitment to workplace safety Highly regarded: AS1554 welding qualifications Site experience in industrial environments Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights, or Confined Space tickets Experience with shutdown and breakdown maintenance What We Offer: No two days are the same.
