About the Role As the Nurse Practitioner (Wound Care), you will provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership to deliver and evolve a specialist wound care service within a primary health setting. You'll work autonomously and collaboratively to improve patient outcomes while driving evidence-based practice. Key responsibilities include: Delivering advanced assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex and chronic wounds Leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of wound care services Making independent clinical decisions within scope, including initiating treatments and investigations Partnering with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, patient-centred care Driving quality improvement, research, and innovation in clinical practice Acting as a mentor, educator, and clinical leader across the service Supporting governance processes, clinical standards, and safety initiatives About You You are a confident and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in wound care and a passion for improving community health outcomes.
