EHS Associate - HSE Advisor - Safety Officer Location: Yatala, QLD Salary: $94,270 - $100K 10% bonus Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Start: ASAP About the Role We are seeking a hands-on EHS Associate to support safety, environmental, and compliance outcomes within a busy distribution centre environment. This is a site-based role focused on driving safety initiatives, managing risk, and ensuring a safe working environment for all staff. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and partnering with operational teams on a day-to-day basis. Key Responsibilities Support and deliver site-wide safety initiatives aligned to business strategy Ensure compliance with WHS and environmental legislation and internal policies Develop, review, and maintain safety procedures and documentation Conduct risk assessments and manage hazards and incidents Drive corrective and preventative actions following incidents Coordinate and support safety and environmental audits Deliver safety inductions and training programmes Oversee emergency procedures and facilitate refresher training Manage injury and return-to-work processes Engage with site teams to promote safe work practices and behaviours About You Entry level opportunity available in an EHS or safety role Excellent role to solidify yourself in the industry Strong understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements Proven experience with risk assessments, incident management, and audits Confident delivering training and engaging frontline staff Strong communication and influencing skills Proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work on-site daily Desirable: Formal EHS qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree) Experience within warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environments What's on Offer Competitive base salary with performance bonus Stable, permanent opportunity in an established operation Hands-on, site-based role with real impact on safety culture Supportive team environment with strong operational exposure If you are a practical safety professional who enjoys working closely with operations and making a visible difference on site, we would like to hear from you.
