Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm. Employment: Casual assignment with permanent transition available within 0-3 months for the right person Start Date: ASAP This is not a basic forklift role. You'll need to be confident operating high reach forklifts, working around racking, supporting inbound and outbound freight, and maintaining accuracy across picking, packing, stock movement, and inventory tasks. Your new role: As a High Reach Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including moving stock, loading and unloading goods, picking and packing orders, dispatch preparation, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. You'll be working with a range of industrial products and warehouse freight, so confidence, accuracy, and safety are essential. Key responsibilities: Operating high reach forklifts safely and confidently Loading and unloading trucks and deliveries Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch Moving and storing stock in designated warehouse locations Supporting inbound goods receipt, checking, and put-away Assisting with cycle counts, stock checks, and inventory accuracy Supporting freight, dispatch, and logistics coordination Handling returns and general warehouse documentation where required Working safely around racking, forklifts, trucks, and other team members Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with safety procedures Supporting the wider warehouse team with general duties as needed What you'll need: Current forklift licence Strong high reach forklift experience Previous experience in warehousing, distribution, logistics, or similar Confidence operating in a busy warehouse environment Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures Ability to work safely and efficiently around stock, racking, and warehouse traffic Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling where required Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude Strong commitment to workplace health and safety Australian working rights Ability to complete a police check Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to commencement This opportunity would suit someone who is available quickly, confident on high reach forklifts and looking to prove themselves in a role that could become permanent.
