About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Manager – Care Planning & Practice to lead and support a team of care management professionals across child safety and disability services. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and person-centred care outcomes, while driving operational performance and supporting complex case management. You will work closely with senior leadership, including the General Manager (Care Operations), to ensure best practice is implemented across the organisation. Please note: While our head office is based in Murarrie , this role will primarily support clients across the South-West region , and frequent travel to client homes will be required . Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of Care Managers to achieve operational and care outcomes Ensure high-quality service delivery aligned with NDIS, child protection, and regulatory frameworks Provide guidance on complex case management across disability and child safety clients Monitor performance, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvement strategies Manage financial and operational targets, including budgets and resource allocation Oversee recruitment, training, and workforce capability development Engage with families, stakeholders, and external agencies to ensure positive outcomes Represent DCR in external forums, including tribunals (e.g. QCAT) where required Ensure compliance with HSQF, NDIS Practice Standards, and relevant legislation About You To be successful in this role, you will bring both leadership capability and strong clinical or care management experience.
