This isn't a revolving-door consulting role — you'll be the go-to technical authority for a named government client, providing end-to-end architectural leadership across their Digital Workplace environment. If you're an experienced Digital Workplace architect who enjoys building deep client relationships, shaping complex solutions, and driving real outcomes — this role was built for you. The role: Act as the dedicated solution architect for a named public sector client, working directly with CTOs and senior stakeholders Translate complex business and technical requirements into secure, scalable Digital Workplace solutions Lead workshops, discovery sessions, and technical reviews with client and internal teams Develop solution designs, cost models, pricing inputs, ROI analysis, and Statements of Work Drive continuous improvement across service quality, user experience, and operational efficiency Identify and manage solution, delivery, commercial, and security risks throughout the engagement lifecycle Partner with Account, Delivery, and Commercial teams to ensure solutions are competitive, viable, and aligned to contractual commitments Experience needed: 10 years in solution architecture, presales, or managed services within a Digital Workplace or End User Services environment Strong technical background across Field Services, Modern Device Management (SOE, application packaging), and Unified Communications (Microsoft 365, directory and certificate services) Experience developing operating models, service scope, transition plans, assumptions, and risk profiles Commercial acumen — able to balance outcomes, cost, quality, risk, and delivery feasibility Confident, polished client-facing presence with the ability to influence at senior and executive level Strong written and verbal communication skills — proposals, SOWs, executive presentations
