Mental Health Support Workers - Ashcroft We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Mental Health Support Workers to join our growing team. This role involves supporting individuals living with mental health challenges to achieve greater independence, wellbeing, and quality of life within their homes and community. About the Role As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support tailored to each participant's goals and needs. You will play an important role in promoting emotional wellbeing, social connection, and daily living skills. Key Responsibilities Provide emotional and practical support to participants Assist with daily living activities, domestic assistance and community access Support participants in achieving their individual goals Encourage independence, confidence, and social inclusion Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes Work collaboratively with families, carers, and allied health professionals Follow individual care plans and safety procedures Essential Requirements Minimum 1 year experience in mental health support, disability support, or community services NDIS Worker Screening Check Working With Children Check (WWCC) Current First Aid & CPR Certificate National Police Check NDIS Modules Certificate Infection Control Certificate Current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must speak fluent English - Must have own reliable vehicle Desirable Certificate III or IV in Mental Health, Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or related field Experience supporting participants with psychosocial disabilities Medication administration experience Arabic speaking support workers encouraged to apply What We Offer Supportive and inclusive work environment Flexible shifts and work-life balance Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives If you are passionate about supporting individuals with mental health needs and want to be part of a caring team, we would love to hear from you.
