Engineering Trades Australia is sourcing an experienced Electrical Fitter & Tester for long-term ongoing casual work with a well-established Sydney-based switchboard manufacturer. Work with one of Australia's leading switchboard manufacturers, with over 50 years in the industry and tens of thousands of boards built. Work on technical large switchboards for data centres, hospitals, rail infrastructure, commercial high-rise, and large-scale industrial facilities. Benefits $68 per hour casual rate penalties Long term on-going project work Growing business part of a national group of companies working on tier one projects What you'll be doing Assembly, wiring, and fitting of LV switchboards and MCCs Testing and commissioning of completed switchboard assemblies Working to engineering drawings and wiring schematics Fault finding and quality checking throughout the build process Contributing to a high-output, safety-first workshop environment What you'll need Electrical Fitter licence (or equivalent trade qualification) Proven experience in switchboard assembly, wiring, or testing Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams and wiring schematics Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Advantageous Experience with MCCs, kiosk substations, or HV assemblies Familiarity with AS/NZS 61439 switchboard standards Previous experience in a switchboard manufacturing environment If you're a qualified Electrical Fitter & Tester looking for stability with a respected name in Australian manufacturing, apply now or reach out to Engineering Trades Australia directly.
