Payroll Projects Officer Fixed Term Contract ASR Recruitment is partnering with a well-established organisation undertaking significant payroll and systems transformation initiatives. We are seeking an experienced Payroll Projects Officer to support a high-impact program of work over the next 10 months. This role will sit within the Payroll Projects team and report directly to the Payroll Projects Lead. The Opportunity Over the coming year, the organisation will transition its rostering and time & attendance platform along with payroll award interpretation from Kronos to UKG Pro. Working closely with the Payroll Projects Lead, this role will support payroll testing, data analysis and system validation activities. You will assist with the creation and execution of test cases across Aurion Payroll and UKG Pro, partnering with broader business project managers throughout rollout and change implementation. This is a hands-on project support role suited to someone with strong payroll knowledge who enjoys working through system change, testing cycles and detailed data validation. Key Responsibilities Support payroll system transition from Kronos to UKG Pro Assist with payroll testing activities including UAT and parallel testing Create and execute structured test cases in Aurion Payroll and UKG Pro Analyse payroll data and validate system outputs Support award interpretation testing and configuration validation Collaborate with project managers and internal stakeholders during rollout Contribute to documentation of payroll process changes About You Strong end-to-end payroll experience Exposure to payroll system implementations, upgrades or major changes Experience with award interpretation and time & attendance systems High level of accuracy and analytical capability Comfortable working within structured testing frameworks Able to work autonomously What’s on Offer 10 Month Fixed-Term contract Opportunity to be part of a large-scale payroll transformation Collaborative project environment with strong stakeholder engagement Hybrid & Flexibility Competitive remuneration package Attractive salary packaging benefits available Interested?
