This is a fantastic leadership opportunity for an experienced aged care manager to take ownership of a smaller, well-supported residential aged care home in Narrabeen. Our client is a large, values-led aged care provider with strong systems, established clinical support and a genuine focus on resident wellbeing. The home itself offers a more personal leadership environment, giving you the chance to know your residents, build trust with families and shape the culture of the team without the complexity of a very large site. You’ll be responsible for the overall performance of the service, supported by an on-site Clinical Manager and broader organisational resources. This is a role for someone who enjoys accountability, understands quality and compliance, and knows how to bring people together around high standards of care. The Opportunity In this role, you will have responsibility for: End-to-end operational leadership of a residential aged care home Delivery of safe, high-quality, resident-centred care Clinical governance oversight in partnership with the Clinical Manager Accreditation readiness, audit performance and regulatory compliance Aged Care Quality Standards, risk management and continuous improvement Incident oversight, complaints management and family communication Workforce leadership, including recruitment, rostering, performance and retention Budget management, labour control, occupancy and operational performance AN-ACC funding oversight, documentation accuracy and claims performance Building a positive, accountable and engaged team culture Strengthening relationships with residents, families, staff and external stakeholders This role would suit a leader who can balance warmth with accountability. Someone who is visible on the floor, commercially aware, calm under pressure and able to lift standards through coaching, structure and consistency. What We’re Looking For To be successful in this role, you will bring: Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration, essential Experience as a Facility Manager, Residential Manager, Service Manager or Aged Care Manager Strong knowledge of residential aged care operations Working knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards, accreditation and compliance Experience with AN-ACC, audits, clinical governance and continuous improvement Strong people leadership across nursing, care, lifestyle, hospitality and support teams Commercial capability across budgets, rosters, occupancy and labour management Confidence managing complaints, incidents, risk and regulatory reporting Strong communication skills with residents, families, staff and external partners The ability to coach leaders, improve systems and drive consistent performance AHPRA Registered Nurse registration is highly regarded, but not essential This role will suit someone who wants genuine ownership, but also wants the backing of a larger provider with structure, resources and support behind them.
