This is a strategic leadership opportunity responsible for driving Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) governance across multiple operating businesses. In this role, you'll provide strategic oversight of HSEQ frameworks, ensure ongoing compliance, and support the integration of newly acquired businesses into existing systems. This is currently a standalone position offering significant autonomy, influence and the opportunity to shape HSEQ outcomes across a growing organisation. What You'll Be Doing HSEQ Leadership & Governance Develop and implement the group's HSEQ strategy, ensuring alignment across multiple businesses and operating locations. Partner with senior leaders to embed a proactive safety culture and drive continuous improvement. Provide strategic HSEQ advice and guidance across a diverse operational environment. Promote consistency, accountability and best practice across all business entities. Compliance, Risk & Systems Maintain and continuously improve the Integrated Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Lead internal and external audits while identifying opportunities to strengthen operational performance. Oversee risk management processes, incident investigations, corrective actions and performance reporting. Analyse HSEQ data and trends to inform business decisions and preventative initiatives. Business Growth & Stakeholder Engagement Support the integration of newly acquired businesses into existing HSEQ systems, standards and governance frameworks. Travel regularly across national operations to support consistency, compliance and stakeholder engagement. Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the group. What You'll Bring Demonstrated experience in a senior HSEQ role within engineering, manufacturing, industrial or other high-risk operational environments. Strong understanding of Australian WHS legislation, risk management and governance frameworks. Experience managing Integrated Management Systems and maintaining ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes across multiple business units. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a collaborative and people-first approach. Relevant HSEQ qualifications, together with a current driver's licence and willingness to travel nationally.
