Australian Workforce is seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our client's growing shopfitting business based in Dandenong South. This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in the shopfitting, joinery, cabinetry, or construction materials industry who understands the fast-paced nature of project-based work. You will lead a small warehouse team of approximately four staff while remaining actively involved in daily warehouse operations. The business offers a stable Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm work schedule, with occasional overtime during busy periods. Weekend work is generally not required. Lead, motivate, and support a small team of approximately four warehouse staff. Oversee the receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of shopfitting materials and products. Ensure materials are prepared and dispatched accurately to meet project schedules. Operate forklifts and assist with loading and unloading when required. Maintain accurate inventory levels and stock control. Ensure the warehouse remains organised, clean, and efficient. Enforce workplace health and safety policies and safe work practices. Assist with training and developing warehouse staff. Communicate effectively with production, installation teams, suppliers, and management. Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency and workflow. Complete warehouse documentation and inventory records accurately. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience supervising warehouse operations within the shopfitting, joinery, cabinetry, manufacturing, or construction materials industry . Proven ability to lead and support a small warehouse team. Current LF Forklift Licence. Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and dispatch processes. Experience handling large, bulky, or custom-made products is highly regarded. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Good computer literacy and experience using warehouse management systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace. A hands-on attitude with the willingness to assist the team whenever required. Physical fitness to perform manual warehouse duties.
