We are seeking an experienced Contracts Officer to join a well-established resources organisation. This role sits within a high-performing procurement team and focuses on goods-based procurement and contract execution within a structured operational environment. This is a hands-on role supporting day-to-day procurement activity, supplier management, and contract administration across commodities and operational goods. You will work closely with internal site-based stakeholders to ensure procurement outcomes are delivered efficiently and in line with governance requirements. Key Responsibilities Support end-to-end procurement activities across goods-based categories and commodities Prepare and manage RFQs and support RFT processes where required Draft, issue, and administer standard contracts and purchase documentation Support supplier onboarding, performance monitoring, and relationship management Engage with operational stakeholders to understand requirements and delivery needs Assist with contract variations, renewals, and basic commercial negotiations within frameworks Ensure compliance with procurement policies, systems, and governance requirements Contribute to supplier consolidation and continuous improvement initiatives Skills and Experience 3–6 years’ experience in a Contracts Officer, Contracts Specialist or Procurement role within a structured operational environment Mining, resources, or heavy operational industry experience highly regarded Strong experience in goods-based procurement, contracts administration, and supplier management Strong operational mindset with understanding of site-based goods and materials usage Comfortable working within structured templates, governance frameworks, and approval processes Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, supporting operational teams Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, structured environment Experience with procurement or ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Ariba, or similar platforms Apply now or for a confidential discussion, call Jacky Mason (National Principal Consultant) on 0439 074 491 or email jacky.mason@hudson.com OR Tracey Reimers 0419 929 487 or email tracey.reimers@hudson.com Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Hudson Hudson is committed to helping you find a workplace where you feel respected, supported, and free to thrive.
