This is an exciting opportunity to become the Practice Manager's trusted second-in-charge, playing a key role in the day-to-day running of a busy and professional healthcare practice. You'll work closely with clinicians, patients and a supportive administrative team, ensuring every patient receives an exceptional experience while contributing to the smooth operation of the practice. About the Role As a Senior Medical Receptionist, you'll be responsible for: Providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming experience for every patient Managing a busy reception desk and coordinating appointments Supporting the Practice Manager with the day-to-day operations of the practice Becoming a key point of support for the reception team and assisting with workflow coordination Managing patient enquiries via phone, email and in person Processing Medicare billing, patient accounts and payments Maintaining accurate patient records and correspondence Liaising with clinicians, referrers and allied health professionals Assisting with clinical administration and procedural bookings Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining high administrative standards About You We're looking for someone who: Has previous experience as a Medical Receptionist within a specialist or healthcare setting Has excellent communication and customer service skills Takes pride in delivering an outstanding patient experience Is highly organised with exceptional attention to detail Enjoys supporting and mentoring colleagues Can confidently manage competing priorities in a busy environment Has experience with Medicare billing and patient administration Brings initiative, professionalism and a positive attitude to work every day How to Apply Please contact Sandra Louey on 0403039232 or email slouey@hpgconnect.com
