We’re working with a large, enterprise-scale organisation looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer to step into a critical contract role supporting and enhancing their platform during a key period. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role — ideal for someone who can quickly get across an existing environment, deliver changes, and keep the platform running smoothly while supporting an upcoming upgrade. You’ll be responsible for: Making enhancements and changes to the existing ServiceNow platform Managing deployments and releases into ServiceNow Supporting the upgrade to the latest platform version Picking up BAU support across the environment Developing and maintaining workflows, automations and configurations Troubleshooting issues and ensuring platform stability and performance Working within established governance, compliance and change control frameworks You’ll also work closely with an external ServiceNow partner , so being comfortable operating in a vendor-supported delivery model is key. What you bring Strong, hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer in enterprise environments Proven capability across: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs) Workflow / Flow Designer (including complex flows) Experience managing deployments, releases and platform upgrades Ability to balance BAU support with project-based delivery Experience working alongside delivery partners / vendors and managing expectations Comfortable working in structured, governance-heavy environments Solid grounding in web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and integrations (APIs/services) Working environment Initially onsite to ramp up, build context and relationships Transition to hybrid working once established Flexibility to work across multiple sites if more convenient Onsite parking available If you’re a well-rounded ServiceNow Developer who can step in, take ownership, and deliver from day one — this is a strong contract to lock in.
