Data Migration Analyst (Spatial Data Focus) A leading utilities organisation is seeking an experienced Data Migration Analyst to support a critical vegetation risk reduction project on an initial 6–8 week contract engagement. This role will play a key part in assessing, mapping, cleansing, and migrating data between existing and future-state systems. The successful candidate will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure data quality, migration readiness, and successful data loading activities. 6–8 week contract ASAP start Daily rate negotiable Key Responsibilities Perform data mapping between current and future-state systems Assess, validate, and quality check spatial data matching results Prepare and execute data upload and migration scripts Conduct testing and quality assurance of migrated data Identify and map required data not currently available within source systems Define data migration methodologies, processes, and best practices Identify data cleansing opportunities and implement appropriate solutions Develop scripts to automate migration and data cleansing activities where possible Support solution design activities relating to data migration, mapping, and reporting requirements Identify reporting impacts resulting from system changes Desired Experience Proven experience delivering data migration activities within project environments Strong data mapping, data transformation, and data quality management skills Experience preparing and executing migration scripts Hands-on experience testing and validating migrated data Experience working with geodatabases or spatial datasets Exposure to GIS platforms or spatial data environments would be highly regarded Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Ability to work independently and engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders Apply To apply directly or for more information, please email: samb@spellerinternational.com.au
