Backed by a strong global presence and an impressive track record of success, the business is now seeking an experienced HR Manager to help build the foundations for its Australian workforce and culture. Description Reporting directly to the Country Director, your duties will include, but not be limited to; Establishing and embedding the people strategy for a newly formed Australian business Developing HR policies, procedures and frameworks aligned to local legislation and operational requirements Leading recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning activities to support rapid growth Providing expert advice across employee relations, performance management and workplace matters Supporting leaders with organisational design, capability development and succession planning initiatives Building a positive and values driven culture that reflects both the global business and local workforce Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment legislation, modern awards and industry regulations Partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver practical workforce solutions across corporate and operational teams Profile As the ideal applicant, you will possess; Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or a related discipline Demonstrated experience in a standalone or senior HR leadership capacity Previous exposure to mining, resources, energy, construction or heavy industry environments Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and employee relations practices Proven ability to influence and partner with senior leaders in a growing organisation Experience establishing or enhancing HR frameworks, systems and processes A hands-on and adaptable approach, with the ability to operate strategically and operationally Opportunity Rare opportunity to establish and shape the people function from the ground up Join a globally recognised mining organisation entering the Australian market Significant influence across culture, workforce strategy and organisational growth High visibility role working closely with executive leadership Permanent full-time position Perth CBD based Competitive remuneration package and long-term career potential Apply Today If this opportunity resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you!
