Exciting growing Wealth Manager looking for a forward thinking Risk Manager covering Enterprise Risk. Your new role You will join the Enterprise Risk team, part of the broader Risk, Legal & Compliance function. You will play a critical role in shaping and uplifting the organisations risk maturity, within a lean, high impact team. You will be instrumental in helping the organisation transition from a low maturity, fast growing environment to a more structured and scalable risk framework, balancing global group requirements with local business needs. The role will cover enterprise risk and compliance frameworks design and implementation as well as Controls Assurance. Key responsibilities include: Designing and enhancing enterprise risk and compliance frameworks, aligned to Group global standards and local requirements. Developing and embedding risk appetite statements and key risk indicators Supporting and uplifting RCSA frameworks, control environments and control assurance programmes Delivering coordinated assurance approaches Driving data led risk insights, and assisting with building reporting and dashboards (e.g. Power BI)Supporting risk technology uplift, including GRC systems and use of AI-enabled solutions Partnering with the business to embed third-party risk management, BCM and regulatory change Providing insightful reporting to Executive and Board committees, enhancing risk dialogue and decision-making This role is highly hands on and ideal for someone who enjoys building capability in a low-maturity, high-growth environment, where infrastructure such as control and obligations libraries are still being developed. You will play a critical role in shifting the organisation from a start up mindset to a more structured risk and governance framework, while partnering closely with stakeholders to drive engagement and uplift capability. What you'll need to succeed You are a hands on, driven risk professional who thrives in a building environment and takes true ownership. A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. finance, accounting, law or similar).Background in enterprise risk and/or control assurance with some experience and knowledge, ideally in both areas.Strong understanding of Risk and compliance frameworks, RCSA and control environments.Exposure to APRA CPS standards (beneficial).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills as the role is essentially line 1.5 and 2.
