3-month Parking Officer contract in Southern Sydney Your new company You will be joining a local government organisation based in Southern Sydney, committed to serving a diverse and growing community. Your new role As an experienced Parking Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring local parking regulations are upheld across the municipality. This position is suited to candidates who have previously worked in parking enforcement or similar compliance roles and can operate confidently in the field. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting patrols of public streets, car parks, and restricted zones Monitoring parking compliance and issuing infringement notices in line with relevant legislation Educating the public on parking regulations and responding to enquiries in a professional manner Managing challenging interactions and resolving conflict respectfully Using handheld technology to capture evidence and maintain accurate records Working independently while contributing to broader compliance team outcomes This role requires regular outdoor work and a strong visible presence within the community.
