About the Opportunity This role is responsible for investigating product failures, conducting root cause analysis and driving product reliability improvements. Working across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Service teams, you will identify failure trends, lead technical investigations and provide recommendations to improve product performance. This position combines hands-on forensic investigation with data analysis and stakeholder engagement, making it ideal for an engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems and influencing outcomes across the business. Duties Lead root cause investigations into product failures Conduct hands-on forensic device analysis Review product performance data and diagnostics Identify recurring failure trends and patterns Recommend corrective and preventative actions Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams Prepare technical reports and investigation findings Support product reliability improvement initiatives Analyse field complaint and service data Contribute to continuous improvement projects Skills and Experience Engineering degree qualification is a must have Experience working within the medical device industry is required Root cause analysis experience Product or reliability engineering background Technical investigation experience Manufacturing exposure would be ideal Great communicator with strong stakeholder management skills Able to work well autonomously Culture Collaborative, innovative and technically focused environment where employees are empowered to take ownership, solve problems and contribute to continuous improvement.
