We are seeking a Behaviour Support Practitioner to join a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering person-centred Positive Behaviour Support services. About the Role As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will work closely with individuals, families, carers, and support teams to develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans that promote independence, reduce behaviours of concern, and improve overall wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Conduct assessments and identify factors contributing to behaviours of concern Develop, implement and review Positive Behaviour Support Plans Provide training and coaching to families, carers and support staff Work collaboratively with allied health professionals to deliver holistic supports Monitor client progress and adjust strategies as required Maintain accurate documentation and meet reporting requirements Benefits Flexible working arrangements Supportive multidisciplinary team environment Ongoing supervision and professional development Opportunities for career progression Meaningful work that makes a genuine difference in people's lives About You Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Behaviour Support, or a related Allied Health discipline Minimum 1 year of experience delivering Positive Behaviour Support services Experience working with people living with disability, their families and support networks Strong understanding of person-centred and strengths-based practice Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Current Driver's Licence and access to a reliable vehicle NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) HENDERSON HEALTHCARE: We’re a specialist healthcare recruitment agency passionate about matching great clinicians with incredible opportunities.
