Permanent AP Officer, Growing Construction & Property Business, Sydney CBD, Competitive Salary Your new company and role An integrated property development and construction business with offices in Sydney and Brisbane, is looking for a competent and hard-working AP Officer to join their team of 8. The business delivers highquality and high-value residential apartments and buildings and is on a long-term growth trajectory. This is an opportunity to join a stable, growing team who are collaborative and enjoy working together whilst reporting to theFinancial Controller and with a dotted line to the CFO. K ey responsibilities would include: Process high-volume AP invoices across construction and development entities. Match invoices with POs and delivery dockets; ensure correct coding, GST accuracy and compliance. Obtain required invoice and payment approvals and maintain organised digital records. Manage the AP inbox and ensure timely processing of all incoming invoices. Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs accurately and on time. Complete supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations. Support monthend processes including AP accruals and outstanding invoice reviews. Respond promptly to supplier queries and maintain positive stakeholder relationships. Process invoices within Xero and JobPac Assist with maintaining data accuracy across job codes, projects, and cost centres. What you'll need to succeed Experience in AP within Construction or Property Development is essential for this role. Understanding of JobPac or CHEOPS as an ERP accounting system is needed. Xero is beneficial. Ability to process invoices accurately and at a high volume, with excellent attention to detail. Have strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally. Be a proactive and adaptable individual, who can work independently and as part of a wider finance team.
