Your new role We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to play a key role in the successful delivery of complex commercial construction projects.Working closely with the Project Manager, you will lead the coordination and delivery of engineering activities from design through to completion. You will be responsible for driving project outcomes, resolving technical challenges, managing stakeholders and supporting the development of junior engineers across the project team. What you'll need to succeed You are a driven and technically capable engineering professional with a passion for delivering complex projects and developing those around you. Lead engineering and technical delivery across all phases of the project lifecycle Coordinate design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities Drive safe, efficient and high-quality project outcomes while maintaining programme and budget targets Identify and resolve technical and construction challenges with practical, solutions-focused thinking Lead value engineering initiatives and construction planning to optimise project performance Manage subcontractor interfaces and stakeholder relationships Mentor and develop Project Engineers and Site Engineers, fostering a high-performing team culture. A degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline Proven experience delivering large-scale commercial, infrastructure, health or mixed-use construction projects Strong technical expertise in design coordination, construction methodologies and project delivery Demonstrated leadership experience managing and mentoring engineering teams Sound commercial acumen, including procurement, contract administration and cost management Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills A proactive approach with a strong commitment to safety, quality and project outcomes What you'll get in return Working for a market leader within the construction sector.
