About us Located in VIC 3637, Mark and Kaylene Walpole Pty Ltd (Trustee for Mark and Kaylene Walpole Family Trust) is a family-run dairy farm seeking full-time Dairy Cattle Farm Operators to join our dynamic team. Job responsibilities Operate and maintain modern dairy milking systems and associated equipment Monitor livestock health and behaviour, reporting any concerns in a timely manner Identify and report equipment faults or operational issues Operate farm machinery and perform routine maintenance and adjustments Record operational data, including milk production levels, vat temperatures, and herd counts Maintain accurate farm records and use computerised farm systems Apply sound animal husbandry practices in daily farm operations Clean and sanitise milking equipment and dairy facilities Assist with artificial insemination, fertiliser application, and general farm duties Work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure efficient daily operations. Adhere to all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and uphold animal welfare standards What we are looking for Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrate practical, hands-on experience in dairy or livestock farming Good communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills Manage workloads efficiently while maintaining strong attention to detail Maintain the physical capability required to meet the daily demands of farm work What we offer A competitive annual salary of 71,550 plus superannuation A welcoming, supportive, and inclusive team environment
