Purpose As our Pizza Chef, you will be a vital member of our culinary team, where the kitchen becomes your creative space, and authentic flavours come to life in every pizza. Bring your passion for quality ingredients, dough preparation, and pizza craftsmanship, and work with the team to create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Primary Responsibilities Take charge of your designated pizza section to ensure smooth service delivery, while supporting other kitchen areas when required Prepare, stretch, top, and cook pizzas to a consistently high standard, ensuring quality, presentation, and taste Bring a touch of creativity and passion to your work, contributing to menu innovation and daily specials where appropriate Stay diligent in adhering to local regulations related to health, safety, and compliance, with a solid grasp of HACCP management Ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency in preparing food orders and menu items during busy service periods Assist with dough preparation, ingredient portioning, stock rotation, and maintaining a clean and organised workstation Foster a collaborative approach between the front-of-house team and the kitchen brigade for a harmonious work environment Skills & Experience Minimum educational requirement: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience) Previous experience as a Pizza Chef, Pizzaiolo, or in a similar role preparing and cooking pizzas in a commercial kitchen Knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation processes, and pizza oven operations is highly regarded Proficiency in independent work and a proactive attitude within a dynamic setting Demonstrated capability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure team environment Flexible availability to accommodate various shifts, including mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
