We are seeking a motivated and organised Property Officer to join our Housing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in property, housing or tenancy management who is passionate about making a positive difference within the community. About the Role As a Property Officer, you will be responsible for managing tenancy and property-related matters across our housing portfolio. You will work closely with tenants, contractors, community organisations and internal teams to ensure high-quality housing services are delivered. Key Responsibilities Manage tenancy applications, agreements and property allocations. Coordinate property maintenance and issue work orders. Conduct routine property inspections. Monitor rental payments and assist with rental arrears. Liaise with tenants, contractors, government agencies and community organisations. Maintain accurate tenancy records and reports. Provide general property administration and support. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Experience in property management, housing, tenancy management or a similar role. Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to build positive relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office. A current driver’s licence. A willingness to obtain a National Police Check and OCHRE Card.
