We are supporting our client, a leading multidisciplinary design studio, in the search for a Mid-Weight Wayfinding Designer to join their Sydney team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and self-motivated designer to contribute to high-profile projects across Australia and internationally. You will work within a collaborative studio environment, delivering thoughtful, user-centred wayfinding solutions while growing your capability across both strategy and design delivery. Roles and Responsibilities Deliver and/or support the delivery of multiple wayfinding projects from concept through to construction Lead smaller projects independently, managing scope, timelines, and budgets Undertake user research, site analysis, and stakeholder engagement to inform design strategies Conduct audits of existing signage systems and document findings Develop and produce design outputs across all project stages, including: Wayfinding and circulation strategies User personas and journey mapping Signage systems, placement plans, and content schedules Graphic elements such as typography, colour palettes, and pictograms Mapping and information graphics Prototyping, user testing, and production-ready artwork Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and documentation Present concepts to clients and stakeholders, including workshops with senior support Act as project manager on selected small-scale projects, overseeing delivery and outputs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive design outcomes Support tender submissions, pitches, and business development activities Manage time effectively across multiple projects and deadlines Contribute to team collaboration, studio initiatives, and industry engagement Skills and Experience 5 years' experience in wayfinding, environmental graphic design, or information design Strong understanding of user-centred design principles and spatial thinking Ability to work across both strategy and detailed design execution Experience producing documentation from concept through to construction stages Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and relevant design tools Experience with signage systems, mapping, and information graphics Strong communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging clients Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and as part of a team High attention to detail with strong organisational and project management skills Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to grow within a collaborative design environment Consultant Emily Lodola Consultant, Business Support (02) 9212 0230 emily.l@bespokecareers.com https://www.linkedin.com/in/emily-lodola-57b313225/ Reference number: 73347 Profession:Business SupportGraphic Design Company: Bespoke Careers Date posted: 26th Jun, 2026
