Job Description About the Role The Indigenous Mentor and Community Liaison Officers will provide onboarding, mentoring, and cultural support to Indigenous employees through our Indigenous Mentoring and Career Pathways Development Program. Your role will focus on supporting employees’ professional growth, career development, and personal resilience. This will be achieved through regular support interactions, cultural wellbeing activities, and by connecting team members with relevant services both internally and externally. You will play a key part in fostering strong, culturally respectful relationships with Indigenous communities and stakeholders, while actively supporting Sodexo Australia’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and broader Indigenous engagement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Mentoring: Provide cultural wellbeing support and mentoring to Indigenous employees. Facilitate onboarding and career development, and encourage participation in training and development opportunities. Conduct site visits to engage with mentees and support them through the mentoring program lifecycle. Maintain accurate records and confidential documentation related to program delivery. Community Liaison: Foster and strengthen relationships with Traditional Owners, Custodians, Indigenous Enterprises, and communities. Identify programs and initiatives aligned with partnership opportunities for collaboration between Sodexo leaders, teams, and communities in which we serve.
