We're looking for a Warranty Administration Clerk / Manager to join our team in Hobart. You'll be responsible for the effective management of all manufacturer warranty claims, goodwill claims, recalls and internal warranty processes to maximise warranty recovery while ensuring full compliance with manufacturer policies and dealership procedures. You'll lead the warranty administration function, providing support and guidance to service advisors and technicians, identifying training opportunities, monitoring warranty performance, managing audits and ensuring claims are submitted accurately and within required timeframes. Key Responsibilities : Develop, implement and maintain efficient warranty administration processes. Identify opportunities to improve warranty recovery and reduce processing delays. Supervise, mentor and provide ongoing coaching and training to warranty administration staff. Prepare, process and submit manufacturer warranty claims accurately and within required submission deadlines. Process warranty claim adjustments, resubmissions and appeals where appropriate. Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies, procedures, labour times and documentation requirements. Monitor outstanding warranty claims and ensure timely resolution. Manage manufacturer recalls, service campaigns and customer satisfaction programs. Maintain accurate warranty records and supporting documentation. Ensure warranty parts retention procedures are followed. Coordinate the disposal or return of warranty parts in accordance with manufacturer requirements. Review repair orders prior to claim submission to ensure labour operations, causal parts and coding are correct. Minimise warranty claim rejections through quality control and continual process improvement. Coordinate manufacturer warranty audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented following audit findings. Prepare and manage warranty ageing reports and other performance reporting as required. Skills & Experience : Previous experience in dealership warranty administration. Strong understanding of manufacturer warranty policies and procedures. Excellent organisational and administrative skills. High level of attention to detail. Strong computer literacy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Ability to work collaboratively with service advisors, technicians and management.
