Wesley College Melbourne, a school of the Uniting Church, established in 1866, is one of Australia's leading and most respected co-educational independent schools. With an enrolment of 3,400 students from ECLC to Year 12, it comprises three metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, at St Kilda Road, Glen Waverley and Elsternwick, outdoor education sites at Chum Creek, Mallana and Lochend, and a Year 9 residential campus at Clunes. The College is seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate to an ITS Level 2 support role. Level 2 Support serves as the second line of technical support, handling more complex issues escalated from Level 1 Support. The primary goal is to provide deeper technical expertise, diagnose root causes, and implement advanced troubleshooting to minimize downtime and improve IT service efficiency. Responsibilities include: Provide Level 2 IT support by resolving escalated incidents and service requests from Level 1 Support. Troubleshoot and maintain hardware, software, devices, printers, peripherals, and enterprise systems. Support end-user device management, including testing, deployments, imaging, patching, and endpoint management. Deliver on-site and remote technical support across campuses and sites, including workstation setup and maintenance. Manage user accounts, access rights, and coordinate new starter IT setup to ensure readiness from day one. Work collaboratively with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues, manage risks, and support projects and system upgrades. Monitor support queues and SLAs, identify recurring issues and trends, and contribute to process improvements and ITIL-based practices. Maintain documentation, develop standard operating environments, mentor Level 1 staff, and deliver high-quality customer service.
