We are currently recruiting for a Senior Registered Nurse to join a busy and well-established General Practice on Brisbane's northside. This is a full-time opportunity within a growing clinic that currently has: Approximately 12 General Practitioners (not all working full-time) A supportive nursing team of three A collaborative and patient-focused environment This role offers much more than standard treatment room nursing. Your responsibilities will include: Treatment room nursing Chronic Disease Management Care Plans and Health Assessments Immunisations and vaccinations Wound care and dressings Assisting with minor procedures Patient education Recalls and reminders Working closely with the doctors to provide high-quality patient care Supporting the nursing team and maintaining high clinical standards The exciting part about this opportunity is the genuine pathway into leadership. The successful candidate will commence as the Senior Registered Nurse , with the intention of progressing into the Lead Nurse position following a successful probation period. The clinic is looking for someone who: Demonstrates strong clinical knowledge Has natural leadership qualities Can mentor and support other nurses Builds strong relationships with both the nursing team and doctors Wants to take the next step into a leadership role To be considered, you must have a minimum of 3 years' Australian General Practice nursing experience . The clinic is specifically looking for someone who understands how a busy GP clinic operates and can confidently hit the ground running.
