The Company A well-established, nationally recognised Australian retail franchise business with multiple locations across the country. With a strong market position and a growing focus on supply chain capability, this business is now investing in its planning function to support the next phase of commercial growth. The Role This is a newly created position the first dedicated demand planning resource in the business. Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, you will build the demand planning capability from scratch, establishing the forecasting foundations, supplier cadences and S&OP processes that underpin commercial decision-making across the network. Key responsibilities include: Build and maintain SKU-level demand forecasts shared directly with key suppliers Incorporate promotional activity, seasonality and new range introductions into the demand plan Support the establishment of a regular S&OP cadence across demand, supply and commercial teams Prepare and present demand inputs into quarterly Joint Business Planning sessions Maintain supplier stock-on-hand reporting and flag availability risks early Build repeatable planning processes, templates and reporting cadences Work across Domo and Excel to maintain accurate demand planning data About You 5 years in demand or supply planning, with experience generating forecasts shared externally with suppliers Proven ability to build forecasts in environments with incomplete or evolving data Experience establishing or contributing to S&OP processes Background in wholesale, distribution or retail supply chain Proficient with forecasting tools such as Logility, Demantra, Netstock or similar Expert-level Excel; Domo or BI platform experience advantageous APICS CPIM desirable but not essential This role suits someone who is energised by building rather than inheriting comfortable with ambiguity, self-directed and ready to make their mark on a function that will grow with them.
